Arturo Tejeda Perez

After a long 2 year fight with Stage 4 liver cancer, my father Arturo lost his battle today, April 16 and is now with the Lord. He leaves behind his wife, 2 daughters, and 3 grandchildren. The loss of my father has hit our family very hard not only mentally and emotionally but also financially. He had been doing well with his treatments and seemed to be doing better up to about a month ago when we learned his cancer had metastasized throughout his entire body and there was nothing else that could be done for him. He was placed immediately on hospice, and although we tried to prepare for his departure, his demise was quick and sudden leaving us practically no time at all to prepare for his funeral costs. He was a loving father, grandfather, and an overall great and kind person. He enjoyed staying active and being around the people he loved. You would constantly see him going on walks to the park, going to the gym, going on ice cream runs with his daughters and grandchildren, helping out in any way he could, etc. He is very deserving of a proper burial and for this reason I am seeking help. His departure leaves an emptiness in my heart that I’m not sure will ever recover. However, he will be remembered and loved eternally. We’d appreciate your help. Thank you.
