This family of 7 has tried to remain in good spirits despite knowing that they are starting in a new home at a new base with nothing, but they are facing some serious costs in replacing their items.

The moving company will only reimburse the total loss up to $75k, and their personal insurance will only cover a small amount more than that.  In all, they are going to receive approximately 1/3 of the value of their goods, which included military memorabilia from 30 years of service, numerous pieces of furniture from their time in Germany, and all of the kids belongings. They are facing a loss of between $150,000-$200,000 that will not be reimbursed from the moving company, private insurance, or the Army.

Please consider a donation to help this family get back on their feet and start over again!
