ARC Athletics Club Relocation Fund

Hi, my name is Matt Rodwell, and I am raising money for ARC Athletics Club.

ARC, as we call it, is home. Home to 72 people from all over the world. ARC is a refuge. A safe space. A place to clear the mind and cleanse the soul. A home away from home.

We started in April 2021 with 0 members. We've grown to a 72-person strong community of like-minded people with a common goal of bettering ourselves.

While I am incredibly proud of where we are, I can't help but think of where we would be if we weren't operating with a crutch!

In 2021, a little while after opening our doors, a new neighbour began pursuing a claim for noise damages against ARC, costing us £20,000 in legal fees and leasehold improvements, in an attempt to find a resolution.

Fast-forward to May 2022 after nearly a year of fighting our corner, we have been given two options.

1. To relocate our home and start again

2. To stay and be sued for £55,000, whilst banning all activities that create any noise disturbances.

With option 1 being our last hope, the money we are raising will go towards fabricating a new space and building a new home where we can truly put down roots.
