I’ve had my Onyx for 11 years, and he’s truly my baby boy. I still remember when he was only five months old and reached out his little paw to touch my hand—it felt like he chose me to be his mama.

He was diagnosed with diabetes, a few months ago and today he began urinating blood, which has me extremely worried that something more serious is happening. I want to get him the veterinary care he needs as soon as possible, but I’m currently facing financial hardship.

A few months ago I lost my job and despite actively searching and applying, I have unfortunately not been able to secure new employment yet. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat, but unexpected veterinary expenses are something I simply can’t manage on my own right now.

My cat means the world to me — he’s family. Seeing him in pain and not being able to immediately afford the care he needs is heartbreaking.
