A replacement laptop so I can keep modding

Hello oomfs. I fear my old laptop is officially dead. According to the technicians the motherboard is shorted, and replacing it would cost about the same as getting a new laptop so this is now my only option ;-; I need one with similar capabilities as my old laptop so that I may continue to mod/model. Unfortunately I don’t really have the capability to pay for it out of pocket myself so if you can help me out I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for any support regardless

It costs 1200 which would be like 1350 with taxes. The rest of the money would be for any unexpected fees that would come with moving my work over from my old laptop to the new one.
