Dear friends and family,

I am writing this from a family friend perspective, though I had the privilege and honor of getting to be Ollie's teacher and having him as a student for a few months in my preschool class at Marion Cross School in Norwich, VT. What a gift the LeBlanc family gave me when they decided to send their baby to preschool. I'll be forever indebted to them for showing such selfless love and sharing him with me. It was quite possibly one of the most fulfilling times in my life as a human being. I thank the LeBlanc family daily in my thoughts for giving me the opportunity to get to know Ollie and their family, pure magic!

Ollie was the most present, compassionate, loyal student that I've ever encountered. He was sweet, kind and considerate. He loved Peppa Pig and trucks! He was always game for whatever preschool had to offer him, and though we spent a lot of time holding hands and doing things together, he was daring and loved our forest days, going to Library, Music and P.E. as well as spending time in our classroom and in our mud kitchen on the playground. He was never so proud as when he climbed to the top of the play structure and went down the big curly slide or when he hiked up and over the huge snowbank to get to the other side to go down the path to our outdoor classroom.

While at preschool Ollie made true connections and friends. Children gravitated toward his funny and kind demeanor. There was something undeniably magnetic about Ollie, and if you ever had the chance of crossing paths with him you know what I'm talking about and should consider yourself a better human because you knew him.

Ollie and his family have become long lasting, lifetime friends, and for that I'm thankful. I treasure the time I was able to spend with all of them over the last months on their journey.  Ollie had a long hard fight and and he was so tough for so long, but a little over a week ago he left our world. His mommy Sara, his daddy Andrew and his sister Claire are learning to navigate life without him now.

At this time with the current pandemic situation, there will me a service at a later date. In the meantime, the bills keep piling up. There is a fee for everything. They do not know that I am doing this, but I so want to help in some way. Please consider making a donation to this fundraiser to help cover costs or directly to Make-A-Wish Foundation of VT or NH in Ollie's name.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
