At The Mill Medical Practice, we believe that looking after our community means more than what happens within the walls of the practice. We love building relationships with local organisations and services that make a real difference to the people we care for.

This year, we are proud to be supporting ANDYSMANCLUB, a charity that provides free, weekly, peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18 and over. Their groups offer a safe, judgment-free and non-clinical space where men can talk openly about their mental health, share their experiences and support one another.

ANDYSMANCLUB was created following the tragic death of Andrew Roberts, who sadly took his own life aged just 23 in 2016. His family had no idea he was struggling to the extent that he was, which led them to look more deeply into male suicide and the stigma surrounding men's mental health. From this, ANDYSMANCLUB was born — with the simple but incredibly important message:

TALK. SUPPORT. BE THERE.

On Thursday 29th October, from 11am onwards, I will be holding a fundraising coffee morning at The Mill Medical Practice to raise money for ANDYSMANCLUB.

There will be:

☕ Tea, coffee & squash

Sweet and savoury treats

❤️ Lots of good food, great company and hopefully some important conversations too!

We'd love you to come along and enjoy the morning with us. You don't need to be a patient at the practice — everyone is welcome.
