Andrea's Hearing Aid Fund: A Call for Help
Donation protected
Hi my name is Andrea. This is hard for me to ask for because I usually am the one giving. I need some help obtaining hearing aids. During the Easter season I am the Easter bunny. I do events for the elderly, I got to different recovery events, visit kids and their families. This year on April 19 I went to a event in South Saint Paul they had at a huge park and was asked to get on the mechanical bull for all the kids to see. I told them ok but go easy I have a brain aneurysm and can't hit my head. So I got on and they did anything but that. I ended up hitting the front of my face and getting knocked out for 5 seconds. I got up after and walked to the church across the street and was dizzy and got sick. I left the event and went home and slept till the next day. When I woke up I had a huge migraine and I couldn't hear. I haven't been able to hear every since. This has been so hard for me. I have been kicked out of programs I was in because I couldn't hear and also lost my housing
I know that life happens on life's terms. I just need some help so I can get a pair of hearing aids. I got a pair from Walgreens but the are just noice cancelation ones. I have 89% hearing loss in my left ear and 88% in my right. I am also now suffering from AUDIO HALLUCINATION. MES
(music ear syndrome) That means that I hear things others don't. I hear music playing, things being drilled into the wall, cars revving up. This is the hardest part of me losing my hearing. This is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. If you have the means to help me I would be so appreciative and if not maybe you could take a second to ask the big guy up stairs to find away to help me get it back or at least find away to live like this. It's depressing. I will push through just kind of lost for words litterly right now. Thanks
