The Amy Clifford Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Amy Clifford was just 14 yrs old and a freshman in High School when she found out she had a rare cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma. She started chemo treatments right away at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. For almost 20 months she traveled with her family into the city for chemos, radiation treatments, in-patient stays and doctor visits, and then back home to Rockland County NY.
Through it all Amy showed amazing strength and courage. Her positive attitude and wicked sense of humor helped her, and her family, get through the toughest of times. She inspired everyone she met. She never once asked "Why Me?!".
In August 2012 Amy took her last trip into NYC with her parents, and peacefully passed away just months after her 16th birthday. This page was created to raise money for a scholarship in Amy's memory to 2 graduating seniors at her school, Suffern High School.
Any donation you can give will help Amy's family and friends keep her memory alive.
We Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!!!
