Two Young Performers on a Mission: Help Us Fund Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Hi everyone!

We’re Amélie and Beau, two young performers from Powerplay Musical Theatre School in North Wales. This year, we’re incredibly excited to be part of our school’s upcoming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—a magical, musical adventure full of imagination and fun!

But here’s the thing: putting on a show like this takes more than just talent—it takes funding too.

To help raise money for our theatre school and support the costs of the show (like costumes, props, sets, lighting, and venue hire), we, along with some of our friends set ourselves a challenge…

On Saturday, 17th May 2025, we’re going to walk all the way from Theatre Colwyn to Venue Cymru in Llandudno!

That’s almost 5 miles of walking with our best foot forward, all in the name of supporting our amazing school and making sure this show can go ahead in all its glory.

We’re asking for your support—whether it’s a small donation, a share of this page, or cheering us on as we walk!

Every penny we raise will go directly to Powerplay Musical Theatre School to help cover the cost of this production, so that every child involved gets the chance to shine on stage.

Performing means the world to us. It builds our confidence, brings us joy, and gives us a space to be creative and make new friends. This isn’t just about a show—it’s about giving kids like us a chance to grow, dream, and perform.
