Hi, my name is Amelia, and in 2026 I'll be taking on the Mini Great North Run in memory of my amazing big brother, James.

James inspired the creation of Jamesie's Mission, a charity dedicated to supporting children and families who have a loved one in hospital. Although James is no longer with us, his kindness, courage and love continue to inspire everything we do.

Running isn't just about crossing the finish line for me—it's about remembering my brother, celebrating his life, and helping other children and families who are facing some of the hardest times of their lives.

I'm hoping to raise as much money as I can so that Jamesie's Mission can continue providing comfort, support and a little bit of hope to families when they need it most.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference.
