Amanda Scanlan was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Recently, Amanda was declared cancer-free after two courses of chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and a double mastectomy. She was on the road to recovery and had full reconstruction surgery. Unexpectedly, Amanda developed pain in her back and was diagnosed with aggressive stage four metastatic cancer that spread throughout her body. In a matter of weeks, Amanda had passed.
