Hi friends! This past week I was accepted into the LINK program on the singer/actor track. LINK is a program for college musical theatre students who are actively working to pursue and reach their goals. “LINK brings in agents, Broadway resident directors, choreographers, artistic directors and more for a week of seminars and workshops.” LINK prides itself in the fact that it is “more difficult to get accepted into this program then it is to book a Broadway show.” I’m extremely honored by the fact that I was the only freshman accepted into the program this year. Now that I’ve been accepted I will be getting to go to New York at the end of the December/beginning of January for 10 days and work all day every day with Broadway professionals and at the end perform for big New York agents. They have been working to give us a safe Covid free work space and housing. I am so honored to be able to work with this small community of artists and further my career, not to mention I’ve never been to New York. Here’s where I need your help! The cost of LINK is $1,495 plus an extra fee for our housing. My mom, grandmother, and myself are working hard so that I will be able to attend this program in just 2 months, but any help that you can provide would be a huge blessing. If you know me you know that musical theatre is my passion and I will stop at nothing to accomplish my dreams. Even if you can’t donate, your best wishes will mean just as much to me.
