Al Wernholm fire fund
Donation protected
On the evening of November 24, 2017, upon returning from buying groceries my father, Al Wernholm, found our home engulfed in flames. The responding fire departments did all they could to extinguish the blaze, but the result was a complete loss. The house, deck, and adjoining wood shed were all destroyed. I’ve had many fond memories of growing up and living in this home. My father built this home with family and friends and lived in it for nearly forty years. Anyone that knows Al knows that he’s a caring and hardworking man. My father is on a fixed income relying on social security and disability retirement from a severe back injury sustained while working. While Iam ultimately grateful for my father’s safety through all of this, the process of rebuilding will be lengthy and costly. In his lifetime he has grieved the loss of a son and battled cancer. He’s a tough and humble man that could really use some assistance putting his life back together during this trying time. I am sincerely thankful to the first responders and those that have lent a helping hand the past few days, you are all truly appreciated.
