Abbey's Mission

This page is to assist in funding Abbey as she begins her journey to Tahkmao, Cambodia in May 2015, assisting in teaching and Tutoring at the Marist school Lavalla.
In April 2014, Abbey was part of a pilgramage to Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka with her school, alongside Marist Australia and Nivasa, allowing the passion she has for these children to flourish further.
Graduating in November, Abbey plans to pursue her dream of volunteering/teaching overseas.
This year Abbey begins this dream by volunteering alongside the Marist community and Abroad program in Cambodia for 2 months.
Abbeys attendance at Marist schools all her life opened the dream of working alongside these children.
"The LaValla School was established by the Marist Brothers in 1998. It is the only government approved school providing a full primary education to children with physical disabilities. Extended learning programs are provided in addition to the approved and accelerated curriculum. These include Traditional Khmer Music, English, Elementary Computing, Physical and Hydro-therapy, Sewing and Guitar." -Marist Solidarity
