It’s with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden passing of Arturo Michel on April 25th, 2026, at the age of 42.

Arturo was a kind, loving husband & father of five children, though many others would tell you he was like a father to them as well. He was the backbone of his family and a respected face throughout the construction field and wildland firefighter community. For years, he worked tirelessly to provide for the people he loved most. His work ethic was unmatched, and his dedication never went unnoticed by those who knew him. Always eager to lend a helping Hand. To his family, he was everything— and he was a true inspiration to many—earning him the nickname “The Victor,” meaning he was a champion. He was a devoted father and friend who always showed up when it mattered most.

His sudden passing has left not only an emotional void but also an unexpected financial burden. We are asking for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward funeral and memorial expenses to help ease this burden.

Arturo will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Clackamas, OR. The details and dates of the service will be released at a later time. All who knew Arturo, past and present, are welcome to attend the services.
