Hi everyone! My name is Joshua Montemayor. In 2022, I was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer in my thigh muscles. The cancer is called Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma and is extremely aggressive.

I went through surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy treatments over the course of 2022. As far as the doctors could tell, all of the cancer was gone. Over the next couple of years, I had scans of the original site and of the lungs.

Late last year, a small spot showed up on my right lung. The plan was to remove the small tumor this last June. I had my pre-surgery scans, and a brand new mass on the bottom of the right lung had appeared. I had it biopsied at the end of August and found the next week that the new mass was the same type of sarcoma that I'd had in my thigh.

All of the treatments, surgery, and trips for doctor's appointments have wiped us out. I don't know how we'll afford this next round. I'm asking for any help you can provide to help me and my family through this extremely difficult time ahead of us.
