Bring Taylor Home
Donation protected
Taylor Beales was living in rural South Africa when he was found unresponsive Easter morning. His friends tried to resuscitate him, but unfortunately it was unsuccessful.
Having your son, brother, or friend pass away is difficult for anyone, but this is especially tragic because he was halfway across the world away from his family.
COVID-19 has made getting Taylor's body home near impossible. South Africa has not been letting flights enter or exit the country. His family has been in contact with congressmen, military, immigration lawyers, the embassy, consulate, local leaders, LDS church leaders, and anyone else who they believe can help get Taylor home.
It has been almost a month since Taylor's passing. His body has had to be moved multiple times to different mortuaries in South Africa. This has become a financial burden on his loved ones. Preserving and transporting a body for a month is expensive. His family would love to have had him home sooner, but COVID-19 has prevented that.
The Beales have not been able to get Taylor's belongings home. He was a healthy 26-year-old, with a history of asthma. His passing came out of the blue and has been a shock to his loved ones.
After a month of frustration and patience due to circumstances beyond their control, there are still many unknowns to the repatriation of his body, back to the United States.
The Beales feel so grateful for a potential flight but are looking at another large expense. Mourning your child and sibling is difficult enough without having to worry about transporting them home and the financial costs that it brings.
Taylor was so loved by his family and friends. He will be missed terribly.
If you are able to donate any amount to help the Beales during this difficult time, it would mean so much. All of the funds will be given to the Beales family. The funds will be used to pay for Taylor's flight back to Utah and to cover some of the costs of storing his body in South Africa for the last month.
Please donate and share. Any small amount or share means so much to the Beales during this difficult time. Thank you.
