A single mom in need - Nakia Green

A precious single mother of 2 (father died from cancer) , and friend of mine, has been through a difficult time since January after learning her now 8 year old son has brain cancer that has metastasized into the spinal column.  After a 16 hour surgery, the doctors thought he would come home after a week.  He is still at Duke hospital and due to difficulties along the way they have not been able to do treatments for the cancer.  It is a very aggressive form of brain cancer and is spreading quickly.  The doctors have told his mom that he doesn't have much longer.  While we continue to lift him in prayer daily, funeral plans have also been made.  Mama had been at his bedside 24/7 for months but now has to split her time between both her boys.  She had a minimum wage job but has not been able to work and she doesn't have paid sick time so no income is coming in. I am hoping to raise enough money to cover living expenses like rent, electric, water, cell phone, car insurance, gas, and food.   Sadly we also have to cover funeral costs that will be about $4,000.
