A legacy for D
Donation protected
Those that knew Denzil Miller aka D will know that inside the great man beat a big heart. Sadly on 30 November 2019 it beat its last and now we are left to say good bye.
D has seven very loved grandchildren, including Mackenzie who held a special place in his heart. D spoke often of his inspiration at her courage and strength, in the face of a very challenging start to life. As a family we believe that a small legacy on behalf of D towards Mackenzie’s ongoing treatment would be the most appropriate way to celebrate his life and carry his love forward.
More about Mackenzie:
Mackenzie is a two year old superstar and a little miracle. Born extremely premature at only 23 weeks and 5 days gestation, she needed emergency life-saving surgery when she was one month old. This caused Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL). A type of brain injury, that has significantly delayed Mackenzie’s development. She now needs regular intensive therapy to help her learn to move and control her muscles. Her story: https://m.facebook.com/WarriorZie/
In lieu of flowers we would like to honour D’s memory in this small way.
