Today was truly a devastating day after Tropical Storm Isaias hit Long Island, NY. Many trees were knocked down by the powerful gusty winds. My uncle Tony is now left Homeless. A huge tree landed on his house with him inside. He is luck ]y to be alive! He was taken by ambulance to the hospital for his injuries. He is not just hurt physically but mentally. He lost his home and car. This is his trailer home in Riverhead, NY. He does not have any home Insurance policy due to his home/trailers age. When trying to get insurance years ago no company would insure it. His home where he lived alone was his sanctuary. My uncle is a hard worker but now with the loss of his home being crushed, car and himself being hurt he now needs financial assistance. He does not have enough money to simply just buy another home. My uncle doesn't know I am starting this page. He wouldn't ask for help. Please help me help my uncle get back on his feet. He now has no home, car, medical bills from this incident and injuries. I greatly appreciate any contribution. Your generosity is much appreciated !
