A Home For Christmas Project

My Mother in Law, Thelma Billy, is raising money to build 8 homes in her native Philippines.  Thelma has dedicated her life to try and help the people of her town where she grew up and her country.  The Cotabato Province had a 6.5 magnitude earthquake on Oct. 31st, 2019.  More than 300 families still have no place to live.  Thelma Billy and Zenaida Phillips are traveling to the Philippines at the end of January 2020 with carpenters to build small homes.  She has asked for help in raising money to build these homes.  Each House costs $800.00 These are modest bahay kubos (approx. 16’ x 20’) are to be built using strong wooden posts sunk in concrete with
lawanit plywood walls, bamboo floors, and corrugated metal roofs. Thelma is looking to build 8 homes for families that have no place to go since the earthquake.   I wanted to see if we could please help her build homes for families that are in need for Christmas.
