Kate Wyllie has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and is beginning her treatment journey with the love and support of her family and friends around her.

Anyone who knows Kate will know that she is one of the most caring, selfless and dedicated people you could ever meet. Throughout her life, she has supported countless children and families and has been an invaluable member of Torndale Infant Academy. She is always there for others, offering kindness, encouragement and support whenever it is needed.

Now, it's our turn to be there for her.

To help support Kate and her family during this incredibly difficult time, I have decided to take on a sponsored head shave on 23rd October. While losing my hair is a small gesture compared to the challenges Kate is facing, I hope it will help raise both funds and awareness as she begins her treatment journey.

All money raised will go directly towards helping Kate and her family ease some of the financial and practical pressures that can come with a cancer diagnosis, allowing them to focus on what matters most: her treatment, recovery and time together as a family.
