Support Yaotzin’s family after tragic murder

On April 27th, 2025, our family experienced the worst nightmare: Yaotzín de la Cruz Guzmán, our beloved brother, son, uncle, friend, and a deeply kind human being, was cruelly murdered in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, by a woman.

He was only 30 years old. He was a doctor, full of dreams, purpose, and a light that touched everyone around him. He was the kind of person who left a mark wherever he went — with his kindness, intelligence, and his smile.

Today, one month later, we are still in shock. His absence hurts just as much as it did on the first day… or even more. But what hurts the most is the impunity. Despite what happened, the authorities have done nothing. Justice is absent, and the silence is as painful as his loss.

As we navigate this immense grief, we are also facing funeral, legal, and family expenses, along with the emotional toll of trying to make sure his case is not forgotten.

This campaign comes from a place of love and desperation, with the hope of receiving support from those who are able and willing to help us in this fight. Justicia para Yaotzín — un joven doctor arrebatado injustamente

Un doctor, un hermano, un hijo… un crimen que clama JUSTICIA.

El pasado 27 de abril de 2025, nuestra familia vivió la peor pesadilla: Yaotzín, nuestro amado hermano, hijo, amigo y ser humano excepcional, fue asesinado cruelmente en Villahermosa, Tabasco, México a manos de una mujer.

Tenía solo 30 años. Era médico, lleno de sueños, de vocación y con una luz que iluminaba a todos los que lo rodeaban. Era ese tipo de persona que dejaba huella donde fuera, con su nobleza, su inteligencia y su sonrisa.

Hoy, un mes después, seguimos en shock. Nos duele su ausencia como el primer día… o más. Pero lo que más duele es la impunidad. A pesar de lo sucedido, las autoridades no han actuado. La justicia está ausente, y el silencio duele tanto como su partida.

Mientras enfrentamos este inmenso dolor, también cargamos con gastos funerarios, legales y familiares, y una lucha desgastante por lograr que su caso no quede en el olvido.
