A chance to return kindness to Barb Jacob

Hi, I am Rachel, Barb's daughter who this Go Fund Me is for.

 

I want to give those who know my Mom a chance to help her out. If you know her, you know she has the biggest heart in the world and would do anything for anybody. I am sure you have benefited from her smile and kind words and gestures. She is the first to offer anybody at her Perkin's Restaurant work family a ride or place to stay if they are down and out. She has been a dedicated server at Perkin's Restaurant for over 20 years. If you have ever been privileged enough to have her serve you pancakes, you left feeling happier from your friendly interaction with her.

 

This last year, my mom has run into a string of hardships - not that she would let you know. First, her oldest son passed away unexpectedly. Secondly, she broke her ankle while crossing the street to work after taking the bus due to the icy road conditions.

 

Due to the nature of her job, my mother will be off work for the foreseeable future to let her ankle heal. She is a frugal person and would never ask for money, but I know that if you met her, you couldn't help but feel her love and want to help her out.
