UDSL Agua Viva Mission Trip 2014
Donation protected
In August 2014, a team of 15 University of Dayton School of Law students and alumni will travel to Agua Viva Children's Home in Guatemala to serve the children who live there. We are very excited about this opportunity and the inspiring experience that lies ahead for us at Agua Viva, as well the opportunity to serve those in need. The mission of Agua Viva is to raise and educate homeless children in a loving Christian environment to be successful, Christian adults who will, in turn, serve others. Without volunteer help, the home would not be able to provide a loving, safe and healthy environment and an education for so many children. In the past, volunteers at Agua Viva have helped construct buildings at the facility, build roads, construct a playground, paint the buildings, and construct a soccer field for the children. In addition to performing any physical labor needed by Agua Viva, we will also interact daily with the children and plan and coordinate recreational activities for them. As you can imagine, a mission trip of this nature requires financial support from many people. We are asking your support assist in covering the $20,000 in expenses for this mission trip. The money will help with flights, housing, and insurance for each member of the team. Please consider participating in this wonderful mission by financially supporting our efforts.
