'Things Burn. But Charity is 4-Eva'
Donation protected
For a few short months, Cameron Archer, Kristin Winn Hershberger, Faiz Ally and Zephyr the dog lived happily together on T Street.
The townhouse with the great wood floors was just starting to feel like home when, in the words of the DC Fire Department, a "freak electrical fire in the attic" broke out while they were sleeping. They escaped with their lives but not their things. That was March 18.
Today, everybody's sheltering with friends. Cameron and Faiz don't have renter's insurance. They need clothes, beds, sheets, towels, life stuff. Faiz lost his laptop and his wallet, too. You get it.
Your help would mean a lot. Money, unused gift cards, donations, positive energy, good humor. All are welcome and much appreciated. Don't hesitate to ask questions. And thank you!
