Hey Everyone, This is Jeanette Bradley, evangelist and founder of 2nd Chance Ministries, a 501c3 non-profit street ministry I've led for almost 14 years to help the homeless, prostitutes, trafficked victims, and anyone needing a 2nd chance, with a hand up, not a hand out. I've experienced every aspect of these issues and more.
I want to buy an RV so I can make fresh, hot food for the hungry, and provide hot showers and a way to wash their clothes. I would love to get the RV by this fall. I understand how blessing others with great food, providing hot showers so they'll feel clean and healthy, and having clean clothes to wear can help them to have more self-respect, self-esteem and most of all... hope.
When I was homeless I used to eat once or twice a week, and sometimes had to wear the same clothes for many days at a time and maybe get a weekly shower.
I was dying in hopelessness.
It's amazing how just showing love and friendship to those less fortunate can change their lives and give them a reason to live and hope and rebuild their lives and not just settle for where they are.
I am a 63 year old, part-time waitress, and i cannot do this without you. None of us should ever let our past, or others, or our circumstances define us, but we do.
I wrote a book in 2003 titled "I'm Still Standing", and by the grace of God, I always will. (You may learn more about my ministry and myself, give support and/or donate, and buy my book at: 2ndchanceministry.net.), this will also help fund my ministries work. I hope to always be a voice for the voiceless, and become a champion for the outcast.
Please help me in this labor of love. In case you're wondering why I call this RV "The Love Truck, it's because when I prayed for a name, God gave me this: the Bible says that God is love.......and love never fails!!! I sincerely thank you for your help and generosity.
God bless you, Jeanette Bradley
