Support Kona's Healing so she can be with her Kittens!

July 2025:

Kona health suddenly declined with a variety of symptoms. Her health team is unsure of cause and she is currently going through extensive testing. The kittens are 6 weeks old and she is away from them as she is receiving care.

Please send good thoughts and any support for Kona so she can get back to raising her 7 kittens!!!

Unfortunately, we are being hit with unexpected medical bills and extra daily costs to enhance her comfort and make sure she can recover and join her kitty family again.

A minimum has to be met before her insurance starts covering the costs of medical bills. We greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer at this time!!

June 2025:

Kona began having mild cold-like symptoms and losing weight but was still active and playful.

May 2025:

With the help of Nurse Nat, Kona delivered 7 healthy kittens and has been caring for them while receiving treatment for her tail. Things were progressing as expected.

Previously:

Kona is almost done with treatment for a degloved tail from a worker in the building accidentally closing a door on her tail. (The injury went all the way down to the bone). Because Kona was pregnant, the doctors decided this would be the best route for her health instead of amputating her tail.
