Ronnie Nelson's Medical Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know my Dad (Ronnie Nelson) has been diagnosed with cancer. After over a month of trips back and forth to doctors and hospitals in Louisiana that had resulted in no answers or a care plan, My mom and sister decided to take him to MD Anderson Medical center in Houston. Within 24 hours they have confirmed that he does have cancer; however not just in his colon, but his spine, his ribs and possibly his lungs. Because the cancer is in multiple locations he is considered stage 4 and surgery to remove the large tumor on his spine is not an option.
If you have ever met Ronnie Nelson you what I'm about to say without it even being said, but for those of you who don't know him personally, I want you to know that he nor my mom are ones to ever ask for help, they are the ones that do the helping even when they don't have the time, money, or strength to do so.
MD Anderson is doing a great job of taking care of him, but due to the fact he is in Houston my mom is having to take a considerable amount of time off from work, this combined with the medical costs that they have already incurred and will continue to they are under a tremendous financial burdon.
As I said it is completely against their nature to ask for help, but these are the times that we can help people who have selflessly helped so many others.
Our family is asking, if you can help please help and if you can't please share this campaign so that we can get the word out to as many people as possible and help lift a little bit of strain until God sees fit to heal him.
Thank you for your consideration and your prayers from the Nelson and Tipton families.
