My goodfriend Phil Bromleys Funeral

I am Frank McKeown. My good friend and colleague Phil Bromley was only 35 years old when he died tragically in a motorcycle accident on Sunday. Phil was a gentleman who was relatively new to working offshore. He had previously served Australia in the Australian Navy. He went to sea in service of his country when he was a teenager.

Phils parents house burned downed two years ago and they are doing it tough in the aftermath of that incident. Now they have this tragedy. The death of their only son.

Australia is a big country. His parents must pay for the transport of his body from Sunshine Coast to Melbourne, then they must lay him to rest. They are utterly distraught with the death of their only son. They have had a hardship that nobody would want, followed by the death of their fine son.

Please donate and let people know that there is no shame in hardship. Let Phil's parents know that that Ireland, the UK, Australia and the rest of the world are one when we realise that lack of funds can be overcome by the unity of compassion.

Please donate what you can. It's hard having your only son dying in his prime (Who was a veteran). The only thing harder is not being able to take him home and bury him. Phil is survived by a wife and two children. God bless them.
