Widow sued by murderer back n court
Paula Henry's husband was murdered by Larry Shandola. Last year, Shandola filed a lawsuit from prison against Henry and her friends for speaking badly about him when he sought a transfer. Although the case was dismissed by the trial court, Shandola has appealed and the case is pending in the Court of Appeals. Although her attorneys are charging reduced rates, Henry has amassed attorneys fees of over $15,000.oo already with the end not in sight.
It is simply not right that she should have to spend her money to defend herself!
The Washington State Legislature is taking up a bill to prevent these harassment lawsuits in the future, but it is too late for Paula. Let's make sure Paula is fully protected, she has gone through enough!
7-27-2015 We will be back in court after winning last year due to a Supreme Court decision and the killer filing a new motion.
