Help Rebuild my fathers home in P.R
Donation protected
It has been about 3 weeks since Hurricane Maria hit and destroyed Puerto Rico. I currently live in Delaware and had no way of communicating with my father until Friday October 6, to finally find out that my family is ok, but to also find out that Maria has ripped their home apart , and all of the essentials of our daily living has been destroyed by the water and roaring winds. Thankfully, they have a family that has taken them in until they can rebuild their home. My father and Step-mother had a food truck in which they cooked and provided authentic Puertorican cuisine for all of the working folks and students to enjoy on their lunch time. As we know, the Puerto Rican economy is terrible, and to just count on the income they don't currently have due to the damages and unable to work, they are unable to rebuild their home as of yet. I, myself will hopefully be traveling to Puerto Rico in November, i will be withdrawing 100% of the donations to personally help with the disaster and hand deliver the funds to my father, in order to purchase all the necessary supplies to rebuild, purchase to replace bed furniture and kitchen appliances. I would greatly appreciate any help I could get, to help my father, little brother and step-mother rebuild a sturdier roof over their heads. As you make your donations, and we rebuild their home , we will print your name on the walls so that my family and I remember that you all made it possible for my family to be safe again.
