Kelly: USMC Vet, Husband, Father
Dear Friends,
Marines are a rare breed, and even then, every once in a while, someone stands out even more. Following his service in the Marines, Kelly devoted his life to taking care of our Nation's most disabled Veterans by working in the Specially Adapted Housing section of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
In February 2018, Kelly was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and a worse prognosis than anyone could have expected. This true Brother-in-Arms and his family need and deserve your support. Kelly will be leaving behind a wife and two sons.
To this day, Kelly has been the saving grace for countless severely disabled Veterans who needed help modifying their homes so they could be a bit more comfortable with the disabilities--sometimes just in their final days. Kelly has literally traveled the world assisting these Veterans, becoming VA's face; traveling to the Pacific, Asia and Europe with a single goal: Advocating for and facilitating the construction projects to provide adequate living accommodations for 100% disabled Veterans choosing to live out their lives in far off countries, despite their handicaps.
Now Kelly needs our help.
Kelly has served selflessly, first to the Corps and his Nation, as well as his fellow brother and sister's in Arms who bear the burdens of their wounds and illnesses.
His friends and co-workers are calling on everyone, whether you know Kelly or you simply have compassion for this soldier-servant's situation.
