We come to you with hearts full of love but heavy with sorrow. Justin VanEvery—a strong, proud provider who has always taken care of his family—is now facing the greatest battle of his life, one that he, nor his loving family, cannot fight alone.

For decades, Justin worked tirelessly to ensure his family was safe, supported, and cared for. Now, the man who once carried everyone else is too weak to carry himself. His body is failing him, and the reality is devastating.

A Rapid Decline in Health

In September 2021, what began as routine blood work quickly turned into a nightmare. A critical infection led to an emergency hospitalization, where doctors confirmed Stage III kidney failure. Despite undergoing dialysis treatments, Justin’s condition has steadily worsened. Then, in December 2024, another hospital stay delivered even more heartbreaking news—progressive liver disease, heart failure, congestive heart failure, and end-stage renal disease. His body is shutting down.

He now requires 24-hour care. His breathing is labored, his strength is gone, and he can no longer be left alone. His once vibrant life has been reduced to endless treatments and painful exhaustion.

The Toll on His Family

Kelly, Justin’s devoted wife, is doing everything in her power to care for him, but the weight of this crisis is unbearable. She is watching the love of her life slip away, feeling utterly helpless as mounting medical bills and the demands of round-the-clock care threaten to overwhelm their family.

Their children— I​ra, Gabrielle, and Paige VanEvery—cling to hope even as they prepare for the worst. Their four grandchildren, who once saw their grandfather as a symbol of strength and joy, now face the heartbreaking reality of watching him fade away. The emotional and financial toll is crushing.

The family is drowning in financial hardship, unable to focus on what truly matters—cherishing every precious moment they have left together.

The Life-Saving Power of Organ Donation

One of the most heartrending realizations throughout this journey is that while Justin is no longer a candidate for a transplant due to his rapidly declining health, there are many others out there for whom a transplant is the difference between life and death. His situation has underscored for us all the profound impact that organ donation can have on someone’s life.
