Help me print my book in aid of Cancer Research
My name is Katherine. I am writing a book to raise money for Cancer Research and Marymount Hospital and Hospice. I am doing a publishing course to self-publish this book to keep costs to a minimum. The proofreading, editing, illustrations, and book cover have all been kindly sponsored.
I am now looking for support with the printing costs so that all the proceeds can go to help make more survivors.
The book is a compilation of stories, drawing on all that I have learned, first to survive and then, in time, to thrive. Hope to Cope is a journey of love and perseverance to find strength through the most difficult times. Once you have suffered you don’t want others to suffer too.
I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer in December 2012. I was 37 years old, my daughter was 8 and my son was 4. My dad had cancer five times. He died on world cancer day, February 4th, 2017, having battled tremendously for 9 years.
He died because the drug he needed didn’t launch until it was too late for him.
I am on a mission to help make more survivors by fundraising for Cancer research and Marymount Hospital and Hospice in his honour. I am proud to be a survivor.
Please help me to print my ‘Hope to Cope’ story.
Thank you for reading. I would be truly grateful for your help.
Launching on February 4th, 2022, World Cancer Day, Dad's 5th Anniversary.
