My name is Nick Johnson, and I am hoping to launch a new gin.
The drink will be called Trinity25 - called so because it is 25% alcohol and has a ‘trinity’ of botanicals – cardamom, coriander seed and black pepper, giving it a smoothly spiced and aromatic taste.

Distilled from 100% English grain spirit and with an elegantly simple botanical mix, Trinity25 is a welcome change from so many overly complex and overly strong gins on the market.
Thanks to the purity and simplicity of its botanical mix, Trinity25 is also a supreme gin for making cocktails with.
Before launching Trinity25, I used to be a brand consultant and market researcher, working with global companies to better understand their customers. Having worked extensively in the drinks sector I saw an opportunity for a completely new type of gin – lighter, higher quality and simpler.

I’ve had test samples distilled and it tastes great; the label and bottle look stunning and feedback from bars and clubs has been very positive

I’m so close to being able to make Trinity25 now: we have a great tasting drink and a beautiful looking bottle and label and we’ve got bars that want to stock us.
The next step is to distil our first batch of 1,000 70cl bottles. Most of the costs to do this are up-front costs (distilling, bottling, labelling), before we have been able to sell a single bottle and this will cost around £20,000, after which point the business will be self-sustaining.
So far I have raised approximately £5,000. In order to raise the remaining £15,000 I’m asking everyone and anyone I know if they would consider supporting the launch with a small investment.
