Help For Family After Brain Injury

My son Andrew was involved in a motorcyle accident on April 3, 2013 and sustained extensive brain damage. This has taken an emotional and financial toll on the family. I am a single mother of five boys, so times were already hard for us. We are now facing financial struggles and the medical bills have already started rolling in. Andrew has undergone several surgeries. He now has five metal plates in his face, and a metal rod in his left arm due to a compound fracture. He is currently unable to stand or walk unassisted. Andrew spent five weeks in ICU, then was tranfered to an inpatient rehab facility were he will be for an undetermined length of time. When he does come home, he will need home care includng physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as medical equipment for the home.
