A loving, single mother’s fight for custody

Hi friends, my name is Kaci. I am fundraising for a young woman that attends a weekly bible study I host. The specifics of her story are at times very similar to what I went through years ago, and I have decided to advocate for her. She originally wanted to remain anonymous, but I can now introduce this woman as Julia. Julia is a single, self-employed mother. The specifics of her case cannot be discussed, but what I've heard is truly heartbreaking. We originally asked for $5k toward legal fees, and that goal was met- PRAISE GOD, and THANK YOU! Unfortunately, the case is ongoing. There is another immediate need for $5k, and the potential need for $5k more. We are praying all parties are spared the emotional and financial burden of it all. I know what it's like to have mom-guilt, unable to be fully present, constantly trying to figure out how you're going to get through circumstances and financially survive. I don't want this for Julia or for her little girl, and I truly believe with your help, we can help eliminate some of this.
