Michael Charlton cordially invites you to our 10th Annual Fragile X Poker Run on July 26th, 2014! Departing from Freeborne's Eatery and Lodge at milepost 248 on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway in Laurel Springs, NC, we traverse 120 miles over 3 states on beautiful mountain roads, highlighted by an 8-9 mile stretch of highway famously known as "The Snake" (US 421).
All proceeds go to FRAXA for the ongoing and critical support of research to cure Fragile X. Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is a genetic condition that causes intellectual disability, behavioral and learning challenges and various physical characteristics. FXS is the most common inherited cause of intellectual disabilities. It is also the most common known cause of autism.
