Hello dear friends, I'm Mahmoud Naeem Jibril, a Palestinian born and raised in Gaza. I graduated with distinction from the College of Journalism and Media in Tunisia. Currently, I'm a first-year master's student at Carthage University in Tunisia, and I aspire to pursue a Ph.D. in the future, to contribute my ideas and writings in conveying the voice of truth everywhere in the world.
Last summer, I traveled to Gaza via Egypt to visit my family. Unfortunately, since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7th, I haven't been able to return to continue my studies in Tunisia, where the travel coordination cost exceeds $7000 USD per person.
Recently, the Israeli occupation burned and demolished our three-story house, which cost us more than $30,000 USD . They also demolished our commercial shop, our only source of livelihood. Currently, there's nowhere else for me and my family (consisting of 13 members) to go. We're living displaced inside a dilapidated tent, suffering from extreme hunger and cold.
Therefore, I was forced to launch a fundraising campaign on the gofundme website to contribute to rebuilding our destroyed home and returning to my university, so we can have a chance for a better life and future.
