Support Progressive Ministry
This fall, Christine begins her final year at Pacific School of Religion and Alex begins his first year. Alex is preparing to become a Unitarian Universalist minister, and Christine is pursuing ordination through the Roman Catholic Woman Priest movement. It's all very exciting!
Unfortunately, with both of us in graduate school, money is much tighter than usual this year. This is made worse by the fact that Christine does not belong to a denomination that supports her call to ordination, which prevents her from receiving many of the denominational scholarships other seminarians recieve. By helping us fund our "overlap" year, you'll help us keep our educational debt to a minimum, which will enable us to select more meaningful jobs that fulfill our callings as well as supporting the future of progressive, justice-centered ministry.
All the donations we recieve will go directly to tuition or ordination preparation costs such as ordination interviews (sometimes on the opposite side of the country), mandatory retreats, tests and other costs.
On this page, there are suggestions for larger gifts. However, if you would like to make that large of a gift (1,000+) we recommend speaking to us offline first about the best way to do that.
We thank you for your prayers and support. And we thank you for being part of the community of love that will allow us to reach our goals.
