Bewal School Project & Ambulance Service
We are fundraising on behalf of the Savayra Foundation UK (Charity no. 1101220) a UK based women’s empowerment charity operating in Pakistan since 2002. http://savayrafoundation.org/news.html
We're in the process of building a new women's education and skills school in the town of Bewal, Pakistan (60km South East from Islamabad). The new centre will also act as the hub for an ambulance service which has been in operation since 2016, a free of charge service for emergencies and transportation to and from hospitals. The land for the school has been generously donated by a local businessman and we are raising funds for the construction work and equipment. Run by women for women the charity focuses on life changing initiatives targeted at widows, divorcees and orphan girls - some of the most marginalised women in the region. The charity also unusually for the sector operates on a 0% UK costs basis -everyone is a volunteer. Every pound you donate is spent on the frontline changing lives.
Please help us in our mission to build the centre by donating generously and sharing this page – Thank you.
