Betty’s Bargain Barn
Many of you in the Steamboat Springs area are familiar with Betty Dickey and her wonderful thrift store “Betty’s Bargain Store”. For almost 7 years, she has been operating her store, which is located west of town on US 40. It has been named “Best of the Boat” and everyone who enters her store is greeted with a warm welcome and a beautiful smile. Her generosity is well known throughout the community.
Her son Darin has been a major help and partner in running the store. Unfortunately, on December 29th, Darin passed away. The loss has been devastating for Betty. She could really use some economic assistance right now to be able to continue her business. I want to help her out during this time of sorrow, grief, and economic stress. I hope that you will join me in my effort to help Betty Dickey and Betty’s Bargain Barn continue to be a positive force in our community.
