The Abu Rahma Family
Donation protected
The Abu Rahma family lives in Bil'in, in the heart of the West Bank, Palestine. He was subsequently killed in the name of Abu Rahma. He was shot in the chest during a peaceful demonstration against the wall. His sister Jawaher Abu Rahma was also killed during a similar demonstration. She suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas inside her home. Their brother Ashraf was also unjustly imprisoned.
Ashraf has a wife named Rana and a young daughter. However, Ashraf's health is deteriorating. As a result, he cannot work, and his family struggles to support their basic needs, including food, electricity, transportation, medicines, and medical treatments.
Rana usually works in a school to support her family and last year's donations to recultivate the garden helped her as well. However, due to the Israeli attacks on Gaza, the rest of Palestine also faces difficulties in the form of scarcity of work. Rana estimates that she needs $500 a month for food, and $200 for Ashraf’s medications
So this fundraiser is to help them and anything extra to help other families in their community.
