Lights and Sirens

Donation protected
Hello everyone! Over a year ago I have decided to join Hatzolah EMS. Baruch Hashem, I passed the New York State EMT course and received my license in June of 2018! For those of you who don't, as a member of Hatzolah, you go through different stages...1) the observer stage, 2) the backup stage and 3) the first responder stage!

A small overview:

Observer- A new member who goes on calls to gain experience in the field and does not have any lights and sirens on his vehicle.

Backup- A member who passed the observer stage and can start responding to emergency calls with lights an sirens.

First Responder- The first member to respond to an emergency call. A first responder is able to answer to emergency calls on Shabbat and is able to drive the ambulance.

I started the observer stage in November of 2018. I am now eligible for becoming a backup member, however, the only thing that is holding me back is the funds for the lights and sirens on my vehicle. Members of Hatzolah help out the community without taking a single penny from anyone; we all do this as a Chessed (good deeds) and for the love of helping each one of our brothers and sisters! Now I am asking the community to help me reach my goal. May no one ever need the help of Hatzolah EMS, however, in reality, there always comes that time and need of such service and we will gladly be the first to give up our time to come and help our brothers and sisters.

I want to thank everyone in advance for all donations! Any amount will help! Every life that I will help and save will be in YOUR merit!!!
