Keep Coda Alive

Dear Friends, Fans, and Supporters of the Arts–

I would first like to express my sincere gratitude to this great community for your support in making Cafe CODA the living/breathing music venue for creative and cultural music that it is today. What began as a simple idea shared with whomever

was willing to listen, is now a revered Jazz venue in Midwest America networking with musicians and agencies in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis in showcasing world-class music in Madison, Wisconsin. Wow! Dig That! And we are thrilled to host the concerts and events on CODA’s horizon this summer and

fall of 2024.

By now, it should be apparent that Cafe CODA aspires to be a music venue that engages the diversity of the community's cultural diaspora, through its productions, partnerships, and scheduled events. Today, we are soliciting your partnership with

our efforts, by becoming an active member of The Friends of CODA, a non-stock corporation that is organizing in support of Cafe CODA’s cultural, educational, and community outreach initiatives.

A tax-deductible donation to Create Wisconsin, our fiscal agent, will afford us the financial buoyancy necessary to continue such programs as COOL SCHOOL, our free Saturday music workshop for youths, CODA FEST, our annual Jazz festival, and the

CODAMOBILE, our recently acquired mobile stage, is scheduled to present live music concerts and activities as part of the city’s 'Parks Alive' Program starting July 22.

Friends of CODA members will receive timely communiques of upcoming events and passes to CODA's programs. In addition, Cafe CODA will include all sponsorship businesses' logos and visibly clear acknowledgments in all our marketing and advertising of events.
