Grad School for Hyppolite!

Dear friends,
I am working to raise money for a most deservign cause. My dear friend, Hyppolite Ntigururwa, lives in Rwanda and is one of the most extraordinary people I have ever known. In 2009, I read about an amazing program that taught farm workers to perform theatre skits in their agricultural comunities to prevent the spread of HIV and malaria. I was in awe of the program and asked another friend in Rwanda to find whoever was in charge. it took two months, and finally I was introduced to Hyppolite and have had the great fortune to work with him now since 2010. He serves his country tirelessly, using the arts to address serious health issues. He is incredibly creative, compassionate, and passionate about helping others.
Hyppolite is a survivor of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda and has worked tenaciously to earn an undergraduate degree at the National University of Rwanda. He has now been accepted to Bristol University in the UK! He has been granted a full scholarship and housing, but needs funding for his flight, visa, and a little money to get settled in Bristol.
Please help me support Hyppolite in getting to Bristol. If ever there was an education to invest in, I believe it is this one. I know from my experience with Hyppolite that he will take his education and use it for the good of others. I have no doubt that many, many people will be the beneficiaries of Hyppolite's good work in the future.
Thank you for contributing what you can to help get Hyppolite to Bristol.
Sincerely,
Jill Sonke
