Jason Allcock's recovery
Hello everyone! I am setting up this page in hopes of helping my brother Jason Allcock and his family during a difficult time. Jason was recently diagnosed with Covid. Being a young healthy man we thought he would recover without difficulties, however, this was not the case. On day 4 Jason became very short of breath and stuck it out at home struggling to breathe for 2 days before his stubbornness gave in (definitely a Jahns' gene) and he knew the next step was the ER. He has been in the hospital for the past 9 days as his oxygen levels were very low and he was maxed out (for those who don't know the next step was intubation, which rarely ends well). There were moments we didn't know how his course with Covid would go but looking at statistics we had faith that he would be fine. There were days that were touch and go, and we feared for the worst. Over the last few days he has been improving, only requiring a few liters of oxygen, thank God. Although he gets to be discharged from the hospital today his lungs are still on a road to recovery. Jason works so hard for his family and would give the shirt off his back to literally anyone who needed it without any questions asked. He has the biggest, most selfless heart and would never want any attention on social media or a GoFundMe page (he might be mad at me for setting this up actually. Love you bro! :))I know with our family and friends we can help him financially, to assist with medical bills and living expenses while he recovers. Let's show him the love and support that he would, without a doubt, show every single one of us. Thank you in advance for considering to donate, even the smallest amount is appreciated.
