Blankets for Hospice
Donation protected
Let Us Bring Comfort!
Our parents personified generosity, and attention to the "grace notes" of life- small things that can change one's entire experience.
As we approach our first holiday season without the loving presence of either of our parents, we have decided to honor their memory by helping others in need.
Nina and I have been struck by many losses this year- including the passing of two beloved friends, who received hospice care from East End Hospice during the past month.
Our family seeks to raise $4000. in order to purchase cozy blankets for every person under the care of East End Hospice, as well as blankets for patients in hospice care at St. Francis Heart Center- an institution that sustained our mother's life over a thirteen year period.
Please consider making a donation, in honor of someone you love, someone you have lost, or someone you have never met. Together, we can provide comfort!
Our family will shop for blankets on a continual basis, with our first deliveries taking place on Thanksgiving Day.
We hope to raise the funds quickly, in order to stock up before the holiday-emblazoned blankets are on the shelves!
If you cannot afford to donate, we would love it if you would share this message.
Thank you, with love!
